Review: Destination X PPV

Since March 27th 2011 this is the first wrestling PPV that I have rented.Number one reason the cards on the other PPV's have not been that interesting to me, the WWE seems to have the same matches on Raw, Smackdown and their money makers which are PPV's.
This card is different as the card is about the high flyers on the TNA roster for one night it isn't about Hogan, Bishoff, Steiner, Sting and the list goes on.
The event started and was interested to see Jeremy Borash doing commentating instead of Don West.
It would have been better with Mr West as Mike Tenay and Borash never really got excited or stopped talking on the matches-rambled on and on about their knowledge of matches and interviews etc, who cares? call the matches quit with the egos.
Enough of that.

The first match would be
SAMOA JOE vs KAZARIAN

The match would start off slow and continue a slow pace Joe seemed tired through the whole match maybe he was feeling sick or something but in wrestling the show must go on.
Kazarian would be the dominate one and win the match by pinfall.

There were 2 bonus matches for the evening the first was:
BRIAN WILLIAMS vs
MARK HASKINS

Being an unknown in North America but clearly a big name in Europe Mark Haskins was another new face to tonight's show.
He showed allot of heart enough so that even though Mr Williams won he still extended his hand to Mark and raised it , then shook his hand and left the ring.

The 2nd Bonus match would be
GENERATION ME vs
ERIC YOUNG & SHARK BOY

The match was very fast and picked up fast and kept a good speed throughout with Eric & Shark Boy claiming the win.

sorry due to the fact that this was a BONUS match there is no pic for this match

The most dangerous match of the night

THE ULTIMATE X

ALEX SHELLEY vs SHANNON MOORE vs ROBBIE E vs AMAZING RED

Before I start I think the guy who plays Robbie E should get a makeover and a new style because the whole "Jersey Shore" gag is over and done with, he has more potential than this.
This match was allot of fun to watch as they have to get the X out of the center of the ring ,the catch? The X is above the ring and the opponents must go to the top rope and get across to the center and get the X down.

Left to Right
Generation Me & The Motor City Machineguns

Alex Shelley would come out on top and be the contender for the belt

Next in line was:
ROB VAN DAMME vs
JERRY LYNN

These two men go back to the days of ECW and had another classic fought battle that went around and around not knowing what was coming next, they fought hard but in the end RVD would come out with the Five Star Frog Splash and seal his win.

The Next was the match for the TNA Contract

ZEMA ION, JACK EVANS, LOW KI, AUSTIN AIRES

This was by far the hardest fought match of the evening no title on the line but a Contract with TNA.
These four men fought their hearts out to the effect of the entire crowd chanting
"Sign Them All"
The high flying kicks, moves ,countermoves etc were all fast paced for the whole match they should all be proud.
Ausin Aires was definitly the more dominate one near the end of the match, which would seal the fate for others.

Next:

THE MONSTER ABYSS vs
BRIAN KENDRICK

Going into the PPV I did not know that Brian Kendrick was fighting for the rest of the X-Division.
My thoughts before the show was not wanting Mr Kendrick to win, but after finding out I did want him to win and surprisingly, he did just that.

AJ STYLES vs
CHRISTOPHER DANIELS

This is one of the reasons that makes TNA stand out from the others when you have mat wrestlers like these two.
The match is what you would expect from the two top wrestlers in their divisions.
Back and forth close pinfalls, backflips and suplexes it was tiring just watching them.
In the end AJ pulled of another win to what Daniels seemed a bit upset at the end and upon leaving the ring gave a mean look back at AJ, lookout AJ.

All in all this was one of the better PPV's whether it was TNA or WWE.
The wrestlers put on one hell of a show, but the crowd was annoying like my friend Scott Ruth had said earlier in the evening.
