TYR's most recent album, The Lay of Thyrm, was released by NAPALM RECORDS in 2011 to worldwide critical acclaim

TYR frontman Heri Joensen had the following to say about this upcoming North American trek: "Finally, we're coming back to the US and Canada! Thanks to all who have written and helped to bring this about. This tour is guaranteed to be a blast, and we're looking very much forward to it. We're sorry if your town is not on our schedule, but we ask you to please travel a few extra miles to see us, and we promise we'll make it worth your effort."

This should be an entertaining show for all that appreciate metal.Metsatoll is interesting in the fact they have a recorder and bagpipes in their music: Folk Metal
