Star Wars Character Posters Revealed--Han Solo, Leia, Rey, Kylo Ren & Finn

With the movie already selling out across the globe on it's first day of ticket sales.

Here is some more information on all of that from The Wall Street Journal,  October 20, 2015.--By Ben Fritz

Fandango, the market leader in online ticket sales, reported that it has already sold eight times as many tickets as it did for the previous record holder for first day ticket sales, “The Hunger Games.” Demand on Fandango was so high Monday night that the site had technical problems, as did others digital ticketing services.

“This is an extraordinary time for the industry, which experienced unprecedented ticketing demand last night,” a Fandango spokesman said in a statement.
AMC, the nation’s second largest theater chain and the biggest that sells tickets directly on its own website, beat its previous single-day ticket sales record by a factor of 10 and has sold out more than 1,000 shows, a spokesman said.

Movietickets.com reported that the new “Star Wars” posted the biggest first-day sales ever on its site, four times as high as for “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” 10 years ago.

Large-format and digital screens company Imax said “The Force Awakens” has already generated $6.5 million of advance sales in the U.S. and Canada. Its previous record for a single day of sales — shared by “The Dark Knight Rises,” “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and “Avengers” — was $1 million.

Tickets to the earliest screenings, many of which quickly sold out, are white hot on eBay, where one seller is asking $10,000 for a pair.

On the Star Wars YouTube channel, the new trailer has generated nearly 13 million views in just its first 15 hours. On Facebook, it has been watched 8.4 million times and liked by more than 207,000 people, including Mark Zuckerberg.

On Twitter, the new “Star Wars” trailer has already racked up the highest number of engagements — retweets, favorites, etc. — of any trailer so far this year, according to analytics firm ListenFirst Media. Which trailer did it beat for the top spot? The last “Star Wars” trailer, released in April.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” launches in theaters the evening of Dec. 17.
So onto the posters released today for the film

Carrie Fisher returns as Princess Leia first saw her of course in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi

Harrison Ford returns as Han Solo sharing the same films as Carrie Fisher of course, not sure how much of the legendary characters we will see. Am excited regardless.

Adam Driver(Inside Llewyn Dvais) plays Kylo Ren
Not much info given on him other than the fact that he is the new villain.

Daisy Ridley(Silent Witness--TV)plays Rey of what I understand she is the new hero of the film, will have to wait and see.

John Boyega(Attack The Block)plays Finn a rogue Stormtrooper who joins the rebels to fight the Empire.

Now here is some fun below , fans myself included have noticed that Luke Skywalker has not been seen in any of the trailers or the poster for the movie as well. Well fear not for this trailer below will  kill all the biggest complainers on the planet. Other than this we all have to wait until December 18th
