Review: Vanishing on 7th Street

Vanishing On 7th Street (2010)

Hayden Christensen, John Leguizamo, Thandie Newton, Jacob Latimore, Taylor Groothius

Being a fan of  a few of his last films Brad Anderson (Session 9, The Machinist, Transsiberian)lost me on this one.
(Left to Right) Brad Anderson, Jacob Latimore, Thandie Newton, Hayden Christensen
Hayden Christensen (Star Wars Films, Shattered Glass) and Thandie Newton(Mission Impossible 2 & Crash)star in this film , a kind of end of world type of film where it ends up just having four survivors. The movie starts off strong but falls apart half way through.
There is a darkness that is just that darkness, they think that it is the souls that are waiting for them to take them to heaven. If that is the case they didn't clarify that or anything for that matter.
The scenes were the actors remember where they were when the darkness started where some of the better scenes in the film, but other than that it was just another movie about the end of time for us all, at least it stayed current most of these types of movies are in the future.
It held my interest only the fact is I wanted to see how they would explain it all at the end, but I feel like the two kids in the picture below when it was all done

What else is there to say?

Thanks for reading this
