Adstock 2011: 3rd in Lineup The Jen Huangs

                      THE JEN  HUANG'S

Patrick Lewis: Accordion/Trumpet/Guitar/Vocals
Matt Salvesen: Upright Bass/Vocals
Robert Mattson: Guitar
Ed Wagner: Drums

This group from Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows has a mix of music which they call Mariachi Bluesabilly.
I just call it good music.
Their name comes from a friend of theirs that is actually call Jen Huang, they have been playing for about a year or two, according to Patrick.
I met with the band before their time on the stage and they were VERY excited as they had just released their EP the night before.
Here is a link where you can hear their music and buy their 7 track EP for $5.00(or more) and the band directly gets all the money.

The Jen Huang's--EP release support local music

Matt is very excited as he got a master copy of the EP at his house, he was all smiles talking about it.
Robert says he would like to play bigger venues and write more music.
Ed was excited to play the gig at Adstock
Patrick  showed his talent at the show playing guitar, trumpet & accordion, he is not sure what his parents thinks of all of this--he has yet to tell them about it all he wants something more concrete to show them.I told him to be proud of himself and his abilities.

It takes allot of courage to play in front of people you don't know, I wish them all the best in whatever they do and will help support them.

Thanks for reading this and supporting local music
