Magical Music: Some Recent Finds-Hilary Grist, Tine Thing Helseth & Paul Simon

In the local paper I was captured by two articles that were about two different artists.

The first was Hilary Grist from here in Maple Ridge she is going to be at the Maple Ridge Act Tuesday Feb 7th 7-9 pm for FREE!

Here is her video for "Tall Buildings"

I will be interviewing her in the near future, so stay tuned.

Tine Thing Helseth is  a 24 year old trumpet soloist from Norway, she made her concert debut in Maple Ridge last night(Sat Feb 4th)

She started playing trumpet at the age of seven she has debuted with orchestras around the worked including the Gayle Symphony, NDR Hannover, BBC Scottish, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Swedish Chamber and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestras.
This album was released October 2011.

Then there is Paul Simon who has had a new album out for sometime now entitled "So Beautiful or So What" released April 2011. On the album is the song, "Rewrite" which is great for the all the guitar work and rhythm of the whole song.
This is a lyric video for the song.

Hope you enjoy this group of musicians.
Keep your ears open for more music
