CD Review: Kyshera: Made In China(2012)

The Game
Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll
Shelf Life
Messiah Mask
Made in China
Burning Witches
12 Ants

Hailing from South Wales this band coined the term "Konic" to describe their sound.

They want to take listeners outside of their comfort zone.

Funk mixed with a voice synthesized to sing the lyrics, the offbeat of all this music in the song "Germ" is intoxicating.

A real  blend of many sounds and crescendos and many noises most evident that keep the ears at attention. Kyshera keeps it real and most definitely original in all their music

This is all around a great album and enjoyed listening to the variety of it and the uncertainty of where they might go next.
The song Burning Witches has some really cool things happening through the song, but that goes for most of this album.

For them to have such a NEW and incredibly fresh sound this is a treat to the ears for this is one of the best albums I have ever heard.
There is not a song on here that I did
They got my respect for the ability to change their sound and feel with each track on this album, experimenting with the music etc.

As well as praise heaped upon the band by folk as diverse as Radio 1’s Huw Stephens (“One of the best things I’ve heard in ages”) and Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Total Music declared “they have more invention in five minutes than some bands manage in their whole careers”, and the Editor of Plugged In stated that they were “the best band I have ever seen in my life”.

I thank you for reading this
