CD Review: Affector-Harmagedon(2012)

May 22, 2012
(Inside Out Music)

1. Overture pt.1: Introduction
2. Overture pt.2: Prologue
3. Salvation
4. The Rapture
5. Cry Song
6. Falling Away & The Rise Of The Beast
7. Harmagedon
8. New Jerusalem

Interesting for a band to have the first two songs starting off the album as instrumentals and not space them out throughout the album but they are cleverly to start the ball rolling on what is a great album. Overture Part1 :Introduction & Overture Part 2: Prologue are both nicely timed pieces of musical composition.

By the time the third song starts it is a continuation of the great songwriting that gets this ball rolling and wow, this is a great rock album and real Rock N Roll fans should get this one for sure.

I really enjoyed this album as this is what progressive Rock n Roll is about and meant to be enjoyed-they have a new fan here with me. They branch out and don't just play rock songs, the harmonies are well done and they can push it hard when they need to as well.
