CD Review: Rage Area-Venice Dubtronica(2012)

This album surprisingly caught me off guard with it's likability.
I say that because this is not something I would listen to but all the songs are very catchy and have very good vocal styles.

Based in the beach city of Venice, CA, Rage Area's music reflects their diverse cultural environment with their debut EP, "Venice Dubtronica." Set to release in May 2012, the album includes guest appearances from Junior Marvin (Bob Marley and the Wailers), Laurnea (Arrested Development) and turntablist pioneer DJ Quest, among others, and was mixed and mastered by reggae legend Jim Fox (Rebelution, Israel Vibration, Black Uhuru) at Lion Fox Studios in Washington D.C.

I am new to this type of music as much as I would not buy this sort of music I am enjoying this album allot The Mystery is a REALLY cool song I love the chorus sung very softly by Joanna Stevens.

If you like this style of music I would recommend it - it also has a good reggae beat in Hollywood Haze some great grooves going on here.

Thank you for reading this
