IF AN ALBUM GETS THIS-IT MEANS THIS IS AN AMAZING PIECE OF MUSIC

Probably one of the hardest bands to categorize is Turisas the Finnish band that wears some scary makeup but has some of the best music I have heard all year-with clean singing, harmonies and some great inspiring music to go with it all.

There are a number of Heavy Metal bands that wear makeup and masks but they are not performing the same type of music either, Slipknot for instance is real heavy fast and brutal. There are crescendo's and vocal stylings that would surprise the most jaded Metal fan.

"For Your Own Good"

"Piece by Piece" has the group singing background as a heavy chorus and it is powerful, this is some great stuff--every song on this album is a killer track!.

"Run Bhang-Eater Run" starts off sounding a like a Heavy Metal polka song this is such a diverse album rarely are there so many songs with so many time signatures and each song sounding like you are playing a different album almost every time.

They are listed as a Battle Metal Band and the epic sound of some of their songs are fantastic, the end of the previous song mentioned has a small classical piece to close it out.

I am honored to review such fantastic music such as this great to hear and I got the album sent to me in July and have listened to it about 20 times as I am doing other things I need a copy of their album and pray that they soon tour Canada.
