EP Review: Through My Eyes-Skin Deep

This is one that sadly got swept under the proverbial rug as the amount of mail that I get all the time from bands wanting to be reviewed this was not just a week or so but I was contacted in March of this year.
Please understand that is not saying that I don't care for this album as there are some incredibly well written songs on this EP, Prescription Medication is one that plays well. The vocals made me feel agitated but that is the genre of music as well.

This group is clearly made up of young men that are quite skilled at what they do I have listened to this album a few times over the past week. While it may not be one of my favorites I can appreciate the talent behind it all , being a drummer myself I can say that the drums are brutal fast.
"DWI" actually has some clean singing and they sound good.
I admire their desire to get noticed and their Facebook page has over 3,000 likes so they are getting the fan base, good for them I say and all the power to them. Hopefully someone with a label notices them and helps them some more, as they are unsigned.
I have been in contact with Joshua James Kanute who plays drums in the band, he told me this

"Well some of our members went off to college so things are slowing a bit, but expect new music later this fall."

Thank you for reading this
