For the majority of my adult life I have always found that the people "Behind The Scenes" are always the last to get the credit for the work on a film as the actors always get the credit long before the writer or director does and that is a shame.
Here below is something that slipped away on me , meaning that the awards are tonight and I had meant to get working on it long before today, sometimes life gets in the way of what we want to do.
Also at tonight's event that is not listed below is that Paul Greengrass will be given the
Filmmaker of the Year Award for his work on last years film
"Captain Phillips" explaining more is some of the press release from A.C.E.
(from Variety)
“A Greengrass film simply has its own signature — from the magnificent hand-held camera work, to his ability to engage audiences with riveting storytelling, his canon of work is bold and iconic,” the ACE board of directors said in a press release. “His latest film, ‘Captain Phillips,’ is a masterwork yielding some of the finest filmmaking of the year.”
Past honorees include Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, James Cameron, Clint Eastwood, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.
The Winners will have the Eddy placed next to it.
Also the winners will be highlighted in blue
